- Text Message – Send text message to mobile recipients
- Polls & Contests – Enables you to conduct polls/contests/voting over mVaayoo
- Flash Messages - This feature is available on Text Message option. Flash message is one of the kind, that resides on the handset for few moments and no sooner the recipient view the message and clicks on Cancel, it disappears on the recipient's inbox.
- Picture Messages - Select a picture from the library and send it to your recipients.
- Business Cards - A Business Card can hold personal information of the sender.

| This feature enables you to create text messages. |

| 1. From: This field indicates
sender of the message. |
- Sender ID: The is the name or number that is displayed as the ‘Sender’
of the message on the mobile phone screen of your recipients when they receive your
message from mVaayoo. To brand your message with your personal identity, you can
create your own alphanumeric Sender ID.
Click on Add Sender ID to create your unique Sender ID. Read the instructions carefully
before submitting your request for a Sender ID. Your Sender ID will be activated
only after an authentication process.
* Only GSM phones will display an alphanumeric Sender ID. CDMA phones will display
562636822 as the default Sender ID.
mVaayoo is your default Sender ID.

2. Compose: To compose your message, enter the text of the message
within 160 characters as indicated in the character counter. |
- 1 SMS = 160 characters (1 Credit)

| If your message exceeds character limit, you can continue to type, but you will
be charged credits for an extra SMS. |
3. To: The ‘To’ field is where you
enter or upload your recipients’ mobile numbers. |
- Enter Contacts: You can either enter the mobile numbers manually
or select a group. you can add a group from your Contact Group list.
- Upload file: Upload Excel file with recipient mobile numbers and
corresponding messages. A sample Excel format is is provided on the Download link
for reference.
Select Upload File from To section, it shows the following screen.

| To exclude any number from your Contact Group selected at the time of sending messages,
use the Ignore Numbers option and enter a list of numbers to be
excluded. |

| Flash Message: To enable this feature, click on the Flash Message check box provided. |
| Sender ID: To create, click on Sender ID, the following screen will be displayed. |

| Provide Sender ID within the text box provided. Click on Submit to confirm the sender ID/Click on Reset to clear the text/Click on Back to go back to the previous screen. |

| Reply Number: Select the Reply Number as your Sender ID to receive
a response from your recipients. If you don’t have a Reply Number, you can
subscribe to a Reply Number. Click on Buy reply number, to get a Reply Number, you
can either create your own number or select one of the options provided. |

| Select required message type from the tabs provided. Clicking on each tab shows the options to be selected on utilizing the feature - Text Message/ Picture Message/ Business Card. |

| Polls and Contests |
| On clicking the Polls and Contests tab the following screen is displayed. This feature will enable you to create Polls, Contests, and Voting campaigns, which you can utilize to initiate brand promotion activities, seek consumer/workforce opinion, etc. |

| 1.Enter Contact Numbers: Here you need to enter the mobile numbers (Separated by comma) of those users you want to involve in the polls or contests. You can select existing contact groups or create a group by clicking on create group link and entering the mobile numbers of those users you want in the group. Each group has a name and can be selected directly next time you want to run a campaign for that group. Apart from this, there is also an option to upload the list of mobile numbers in an excel sheet. |
| 2.Campaign Name: In this field you need to enter the Campaign name. It is a mandatory field and cannot be left blank. All replies from mobile users are tagged using this campaign name in Polls & Contest Summary. You can also choose to re-use active campaigns, in that case the keyword, contest questions, header & footer message and start & end date remaining same – you can edit the contact numbers alone. |
| 3.Keyword:You need to enter a keyword for each and every poll or contest. All replies from mobile users to a shortcode 56263XXX should contain this keyword. This is a mandatory field. At a given time a keyword can be used by one poll & contest campaign, after the contest life time (End Date of the contest) it can be used by other campaigns. In order to use a keyword, which is currently being used by a campaign, you need to release it from the Contest & Polls Summary section. |
| 4.Header Message: You can use this field to enter an introductory message preceding the contest question. This field is optional. |
| 5. Contest Question:You need to enter the contest question in this field for creating a poll or contest, which is a mandatory item. The contest question is followed by a list of key / option pair. The various possible answers to the contest question must be provided as the options and a key is assigned to each answer option. The user will use the key to select the answer option while replying to the contest question. However, the key & options are not mandatory. |
| 6.Footer Message:This text-box allows you to enter a footer message of the campaign on the mobile screen. Eg: - Send your replies to 56263XXX with XXXXX (keyword) <space>A (option). This is a mandatory field. The keyword and reply number is a must in the footer message. |
| 7.Start Date & Time, End Date & Time: This section explains the duration of a contest /poll. For ex: If you want to execute a campaign from 1st August to 5th August 2009 then start date should be 1st August, and the end date should be 5th August. Mobile users can reply to the poll or contest for five complete days.
To schedule a poll or contest campaign at a later date or time, please ensure the date specified by you falls within campaign start and end time. You can schedule an active campaign at a later date and time; however, you can edit only the contact numbers in this case.
Note: In case, you are not using a reply number for the Poll & Contest campaign, an alert message - “Dear user to schedule Polls & Contest you need to use reply number (e.g. – 56263111)” is displayed when you click on Polls & Contests tab.

Picture Message Section |
| It shows a collection of pictures available in the library. You can select a picture and send to your recipients. Please note that multiple pictures cannot be selected at a time. All the options are briefly explained in Text Message Section. |

| This feature enables you to send personal information in the form of an electronic business card to your recipients. Options shown in the screen are briefly explained in the Text Message Section. |

| 5. Sending options |
- Send later: Select Send Later to schedule the delivery of your
message. Set the date/time and click Send.

| Click on Send, it will navigate to the following success screen. |
| |
- Save: To save your message as a draft, uncheck Send Later, and
select Save. To send your message instantly, select Send.
- Send: To send the message immediately.

| Credits: Credits are your currency to use mVaayoo. Once you are
logged in, your credit balance will be displayed on the screen. You can buy Credits
online. You can also check for the credit balance on Check Credit Status. |
